So-what sets us apart?

• We are a family owned and run companies, who have been making custom-bespoke boots for nearly a century now, since 1922. Some of our clients include Tommy Hilfiger, champion equestrians such as Harry Meade and Jean Lou Bigot, the legendary Crazy Horse Cabaret in Paris and Walt Disney to name a few. Each order is unique, special and matters equally to us. All of our boots are made in our workshop in the Vendee region of France, using original skills that have been passed down for generations.
• We offer a truly custom – bespoke service, unlike many other bootmakers you will find on the Internet whose custom made to measure boots tend to be made around a modified leg pattern based on a standard shoe size, our boots are made to your measurements throughout. This is where the true skill of the bootmaker comes in. As much as 60 percent of the time that goes into making your fully custom-bespoke boots will be spent either making or adjusting the lasts to give you a perfect fit and total comfort.
• We only use leather that comes from top European or North American tanneries, and are tanned using age – old techniques, to provide comfort and durability. We only use leather from suppliers that adhere to strict codes of practice.
• Our boots are lined with top quality lining leather throughout (except ,of course, the stretch and nappa leather styles, where a snug leg hugging fit is essential)
• We do not use synthetic linings. These wear poorly and have detrimental effects on the wearers foot.
• The soles of our boots are individually crafted from either top grade soling leather or from Vibram or Sacred natural rubber; these are durable, unlike the cheap elastomere synthetic soles used by many online makers. Our boots are truly built for walking and to last.
