Vegan Boots

So who said environmentally sustainable boots can’t be elegant, sassy and sexy? With our new planet-friendly collection we are bringing our decades of craftsmanship, tradition and design creativity to these fascinating new materials.
Our initial idea was to produce a line of custom made-to-measure boots for the vegan community and as with many good ideas, this one grew. At Jean Gaborit we have always taken great care to use responsibly sourced materials in our boots, and whilst researching suitable materials, and mastering the art of working with these new fabrics on a bootmaker's last, we decided to go a step further and work with environmentally sustainable fabrics as well. And so amongst the range of material options we are offering, you will find a Bamboo-based woven fabric that is ideal for mid season and summer boots.
Breathable, light and gorgeous to the touch, it shapes beautifully on the last to make elegant, fashionable boots that tread lightly on the environment. We will also be offering boots made using more traditional 'Vegan leathers' and other alternatives to animal-derived leather.
